And yes I know what you mean. I too would like to try that sometime. I prefer atmospheric songs with sparse lyrics drenched in reverb/delay just like in M83 and Radiohead. If given the chance, I would like to attempt that sometime. Thank you for taking the time to letting me know your thoughts.

Thanks, John! I was back and forth on whether or not I should include that in the second verse and ultimately decided to leave it out to give it some more space, but maybe I should've left it. Any tips to humanize the piano more? One of my problems is understanding the note placement according to the real hand position, because I have zero experience on playing a real piano or synth. :(

ugh this is really good but the vocal treatment bothers me, it seems like you did some sort of funky vocal processing that makes them sound weird! other than that, it's great - the acoustic guitar, the melodies, there's lots to like!

Oh, I treated the crap out of the vocals. I wanted to sounds slightly...off. Not quite human. There was a reason for it!

Hopefully it didn't work too far out of my favour!

dang, epic song! its a bit of bad luck you're up against papkee IMHO, you would have a much easier time up against almost anyone else in this section of the bracket. great stuff tho, really intense cinematic work =D

dang i actually really like this, the whole eternal suffering and anguish thing notwithstanding (ya think you could be a little more gentle with your message pls?). good stuff, great main melody. just turn down some of your reverbs. ;-)
