The animation quality was top-notch, don't get me wrong, and I enjoyed the syncing to the music. However, the pure random violence just gets boring to me after a little while. Just a personal opinion. The weird styles of talking seemed mostly dumb to me, although maybe once or twice I chuckled. Oh well though.

I liked it, it was fun to watch and it never really got boring. I think its length was just long enough, because I enjoyed the above average length, but I never got bored while watching it - a great balance. Although music/animation sync didn't crop up until the very end, I still liked the little fireworks that you synced, so that knocked you up from 7. Plus it just made me a little happy. I donno why. Anyway, good work :)

Good stuff. I love 8bitness. You already mentioned the overabundance of dialog, so I won't harass you too much for that, although honestly you could have covered what took 5 minutes in 2.

I knocked you a point or 2 down for this:

"it means that you're an inept player, whether you're too arrogant to accept that or not." (found in the Author Comments)

That sort of attitude is flawed and presumptuous. First of all, if 99.9% of people can't beat a boss without practicing on monsters for an hour beforehand, thats your fault, not the gamers. Sometimes you need to tailor to more people than yourself.

Other than that, woot. I couldn't figure out how to use potions though. Do you HAVE to get into a fight in order to use items? I didn't see any sort of tutorial on how to do this.

..in a while. Good animation, good sound. Funny without trying to be funny. Reminds me a lot of alanTheBOX except less grounded in reality. I was glad that everything tied together in the end.

Voice actor bothered me, except for the voice of the "package shower" guy. I didn't find it all too funny, but everyone else did, so your still cool. I guess I'm more of a slapstick kinda guy. Or something.
