I was improvising on the piano and just came upon a really nice melody when my house-mate a story above me stomped really hard on the floor to get me to stop playing piano. I guess it *was* like 11:30 and theoretically people have work tomorrow (like me) and I was playing kinda loud :P
It cuts off exactly when the floor stomp happened.
Now use that awesome melody and write a song! :D

That reminds me of this great Mitch Hedberg joke:
"I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on the wall, I knew he wanted me to turn my music down... When he knocked on the wall, I would mess with his head. I'd say, 'Go around. There is no door on the wall. I don't know what's on your side, but my side is all flat.'"
That melody was awesome! And believe me, I can relate. No matter at what hour I play (I may play 1 minute, or one hour, but eventually) a cranky old man who lives below me will hit the radiator with a pole or something, causing most of the house to hear loud booms -_-
He's a bit infamous in our highrise XD
